Vimal Tirimanna, C.Ss.R., teaches Moral Theology at the Accademia Alfonsiana, Urbaniana and at the Pontifical College of San Beda in Rome, and at the National Seminary of Our Lady of Lanka in Sri Lanka. From 1997 to 2012, he was the theological representative of the Sri Lankan Bishops at the Office of Theological Concerns (OTC) of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC), and from 2002 to 2012 he served as its Executive Secretary. In 2011, he was appointed by the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity to the Catholic delegation to the Anglican Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC) of which he is still a member.
