President-designate of Rissho Kosei-kai, is actively engaged in both domestic and international interreligious dialogue and peace activities as a co-moderator of Religions for Peace International and of KAICIID, and so on. She is also devoted to studying and practicing the teachings of the Lotus Sutra and shares the teachings with members at the worship services and special events. She is taking a pre-doctoral course on Applied Religious Studies, majoring in interreligious dialogue and cooperation at the Sophia University.
